WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?
Tickets are available online at mystictheatre.com, through our ticket seller, Eventim (otherwise known as See Tickets). You can either print your tickets, or download them onto your phone. Alternatively, your confirmation email should have QR codes in the body of the email.
Tickets are also available to purchase in person from the bar at McNear’s, during business hours. A limited number of tickets are sometimes available at the door, but purchasing in advance is highly recommended, as shows frequently sell out.
We often receive reports of guests buying tickets to our shows through third-party websites, paying inflated prices on tickets. These tickets are often invalid, and will be denied at the door. To protect yourself from falling victim to these scams, always buy your tickets directly through our website, mystictheatre.com, or the artist’s website.
WHERE IS MY SEAT?
Your ticket does not assign you an exact seat. All seats are first come, first served. Most of our shows are General Admission. If the show has General Admission (GA) tickets and Balcony tickets for sale, GA will allow you anywhere downstairs, and Balcony allows you anywhere upstairs.
For Fully Seated shows, see the map at the bottom of this page for a breakdown of our seating sections. Again, tickets do not assign you an exact seat, they assign you a seating section. All seats in each section are still first come, first served.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
The Mystic does not provide parking. We recommend arriving to the show early to allow for adequate time to find parking. Try Keller Street Garage, or Theatre District Garage. Both options are close, and free!
DOES THE MYSTIC THEATRE HAVE FOOD AND A BAR?
There is a full premium bar in the lobby of the Theatre.
Food is available for take-out from McNear’s, our restaurant right next door, and can be brought into the theatre to enjoy. Drinks purchased from McNear’s may not come into the Theatre, and drinks purchased from the Theatre may not go into McNear’s.
CAN I BRING MY CAMERA INTO THE MYSTIC?
At load-in our hospitality manager checks in with the band to find out what the band’s policy on photography is. Our entire security and door staff is notified of this policy so that they may enforce it. Some bands say absolutely no cameras while others just want no flash photography. We suggest that you ask the door staff upon entering the theatre regarding the bands policy.
DOES THE MYSTIC ALLOW IN AND OUT PRIVILEGES?
Yes, the Mystic allows in and out privileges for 21+ shows. Upon arrival, after your ticket is scanned, you will receive a stamp that allows you to come and go as you please. Show your stamp to security and box office upon re-entry. Go next door to McNear’s for a delicious dinner!
*We occasionally have All Ages shows. For All Ages shows, patrons under 21 will receive an X on both hands, and will not be allowed re-entry unless accompanied by an adult over 21.
CAN I SMOKE INSIDE THE THEATRE?
The Mystic does not allow smoking of any kind inside the venue or on the patio. If you would like to smoke, we ask that you please exit the venue, and smoke across the street.
CAN I BRING MY KID TO A SHOW IF IT’S 21+?
Almost all Mystic shows are 21+. This info will be listed on the show’s ticketing page. We do not allow anyone under the age of 21 inside the venue for 21+ shows, even if they are accommodated by an adult. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule.
I FORGOT MY ID. CAN I STILL GET INTO THE SHOW?
We require everyone who enters the show to provide a valid ID upon arrival. You will not be granted entry if you do not have your ID with you.
CAN I BRING MY BAG INTO THE SHOW?
Yes, bags are allowed inside the venue. All large bags are subject to search by security upon arrival. We do not have a coat check, so keep in mind that you will have to hold your bag throughout the duration of the show.
CAN I BRING MY WATER BOTTLE?
Yes, but it must be completely empty upon arrival. There is a water refill station inside the venue.
CAN I BRING IN FOOD?
No outside food is allowed inside the venue, unless purchased next door at McNear’s for takeout.
IS THERE A COAT CHECK?
No, we do not have a coat check. Although Petaluma gets cold in the evening, it can get quite warm inside the venue for sold out shows, so keep this in mind.
DOES THE MYSTIC TAKE TABLE OR SEAT RESERVATIONS?
We do not take reservations for tables or seating. All Mystic shows are either General Admission (GA) or assigned by section (floor, balcony, etc.) and the seats are first come, first served. We recommend you arrive to the show early in order to get the seat(s) you prefer.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
The Mystic does not have a specific dress code, but a shirt and shoes are required. Hats are okay.
IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?
Anything found inside the venue after a show will be put in our lost and found. If you think you lost something at a show, feel free to email us at mystictheatreinfo@gmail.com with details of the lost item or give us a call at 707-765-2121.
WHAT DO YOU OFFER FOR ADA PATRONS?
The Mystic makes every effort to accommodate the needs of our diverse patrons. If you require ADA accommodations, please let us know upon arrival and we will guide you to our ADA seating section. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before doors open for the show, and we will allow early entry. ADA patrons are allowed one guest to sit with them.
For those who need sign language interpreters, we need to know in advance to make the arrangements; alternatively, we’ll be glad to work with you to get your usual interpreter access. We need at least three weeks advance notice to accommodate a sign language interpreter.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, card, and tap to pay.
CAN I GET A TICKET STUB?
The only way to receive a real, physical ticket stub is by purchasing your ticket in advance at McNear’s bar next door to The Mystic.
CAN I KEEP MY TICKET STUB?
Yes, you can keep your ticket stub after it is torn at the door. However, we do throw away printed tickets, so people don’t try to resell them after being scanned in.
CAN I GET A REFUND FOR A TICKET I PURCHASED?
The Mystic does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges unless the show is cancelled or postponed.
I PURCHASED MY TICKET, BUT DIDN’T RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WITH MY TICKETS.
Please reach out to us at mystictheatreinfo@gmail.com with your first and last name, order number (if you have it), and the last 4 digits of the card you purchased the ticket(s) with. We can try to look up your order.
If we are not able to find your order, and you did not receive any sort of confirmation email, it may mean you purchased from a third-party site, in which case we cannot help you. Always make sure to purchase your tickets at mystictheatre.com.
I PURCHASED MY TICKET FROM ANOTHER WEBSITE. WILL IT STILL WORK?
It depends. You should always purchase your tickets directly from the venue’s website or the artist’s website. If you bought from a third-party site, and you did not receive a confirmation email with a QR code to scan, you may have been scammed. Scammer sites are extremely common these days, so it is important that you always make sure you’re on the correct website before purchasing. The first few search results are almost always sponsored websites, and often scams. The first red flag would be inflated ticket prices – if you notice the ticket prices are abnormally high, check that you are on the correct website.
I LOST MY TICKET. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?
If you purchased your ticket(s) directly from mystictheatre.com, or from McNear’s next door, we can look up your ticket at the door by your last name, order number, or last 4 digits of the card you purchased with. If you purchased your ticket from a third-party site (including sites like StubHub or Vivid Seats), we cannot look up your ticket, as it was not purchased through our ticket selling platform.
I WANT TO RENT THE MYSTIC THEATRE FOR A PRIVATE EVENT. HOW DO I GO ABOUT DOING THAT?
If you are interested in having a private event (wedding reception, holiday party, class reunion, meeting, expo, etc.) and you would like to speak to our event’s coordinator please email MysticShennon@gmail.com with your date request and event information and we will do our best to accommodate.

If a show has General Admission and Balcony tickets, General Admission is only on the floor, and Balcony allows you to go upstairs.
