LA GENTE SF and THE CRUX are come to Petaluma to rock the historic Mystic stage and celebrate Josh Windmiller’s birthday AND the 15 year anniversary of The Crux! There will be special guests, revelry, and so much more!
LA GENTE SF was born in the eclectic San Francisco Bay Area and is led by Rafael Bustamante Sarria: singer-songwriter and voting member of the Recording Academy/Grammy's. LA GENTE SF has just released "Lotus Hotel" their first single and music video from their 5th studio album "Entre 2 Mundos." The album and series of music videos were recorded and filmed in San Francisco, Colombia, Spain, Mexico and Morocco. LA GENTE SF is currently on their 2022 world tour in support of this new international project with dates in Spain, The USA, Mexico, Colombia and more. The group has created their own unique blend of Cumbia, Reggae, Salsa, and Reggaeton. Their music and live shows fuse together rhythms, dances and cultural influences from all over Latino America and the Caribbean with a distinct San Francisco flavor, to create an infectious, high energy dance party.


After years of touring and releasing original music, LA GENTE SF has built a large and loyal following all over the US and around the globe performing at numerous festivals, universities, radio stations, museums, art galleries and major venues, including: Los Angeles, New Orleans, Austin, Portland and New York as well as Spain, Italy, France, Mexico, Great Britain, Brazil, Chile, Nicaragua, and Colombia. Their notoriety and showmanship has found them sharing the stage with other recognized recording artists such as George Clinton and The P-Funk All Stars, E-40, La Santa Cecilia, Quantic, The Digital Underground, Oscar De Leon, Hyro-Glyphics, Digable Planets, Pato Banton, Lyrics Born, Pete Escovedo, and MALO.
